Open Case was founded by two college students, Tim Metcalf and Sofia Tabet, who shared a passion for making legal assistance accessible to everyone, regardless of their financial situation. The idea began with a simple goal: to bridge the gap between people in need of legal help and lawyers willing to offer pro bono services. Since its inception in early 2024, Open Case has been committed to connecting deserving individuals with the support they need, focusing on impactful cases that make a real difference in people’s lives.
